Your trade, your rate, your week.
HireGo is a way to be found by people near you who need the work you do — without handing over control of what you charge, when you work, or whether a job counts as finished.
Getting on the platform
Five steps. The third one is the one that matters — it is what makes a HireGo profile worth something to the person reading it.
Register and pick your trade
Your account starts as a customer account. Choosing a trade opens the profile form for that trade — the questions a chef answers are not the ones a driver answers.
Upload what proves you
Licences, certificates, a resume, photographs of your work or your vehicle. The list is fixed per trade so you are never asked for something that does not exist in your line of work.
Wait for a person to approve you
An administrator reads the documents. This is a real gate — until it is passed you do not appear in search and cannot accept a booking. It is also why customers take the profiles seriously.
Set your rate, your area and your week
Your price, the distance you will travel, the days you work, and one switch for whether you are taking bookings at all. Turn it off and the requests stop.
Take work and get paid
Requests arrive on your phone. Accept, or name your own figure. Add your bank account so an advance can be paid straight to you.
What the platform does for your side of the deal
Marketplaces usually write their rules for the buyer. These six exist for the person doing the work.
You are not held to someone else’s price
A customer’s figure is an opening offer, not a rate you have to work at. Counter it. Five offers per booking, all of them on the record, so there is no dispute later about what was agreed.
You can ask for money before you travel
Request an advance and the customer pays it into your own listed account, then uploads the receipt. You verify it arrived — nobody at HireGo marks it paid on your behalf.
A job is not finished until you say so
Completion needs both parties. A customer cannot close a booking, walk away and leave you with no record of the work.
You have somewhere to go when you are not paid
"Job done, customer will not pay" is a first-class complaint here, not an edge case. Open a ticket against the booking and a person picks it up with the whole history attached.
Your earnings are counted in one place
A dashboard totals what you have earned, what is outstanding and what is still in progress, from the same figures HireGo’s own reporting uses.
Your reviews come from real jobs
Only a customer with a completed booking with you can rate you, once. A rival cannot bury you under invented one-star reviews.
What each trade has to hand over
Nothing decorative, and nothing that does not exist in that line of work. This list is the whole requirement.
