HireGo

Agree the price before anyone starts.

HireGo puts a verified chef, plumber, electrician, cleaner, driver or lawyer near you on the other end of a booking you both sign off on. You settle the figure between you, in writing, before a single tool comes out of the bag.

An example HireGo booking: a customer offers 12,000 rupees for a dinner, the chef counters at 18,000, they agree on 15,500, and both confirm the job as finished.

A booking is an agreement, not a checkout

Skilled work does not have one right price, and the people doing it are not interchangeable. HireGo is built on both of those facts.

Instead of a fixed rate card

a price the two of you land on

Either side can counter, up to five times. Every offer stays attached to the booking, so there is no argument later about what was said.

Instead of a star rating anyone can post

a rating a finished job unlocks

Only a customer whose booking was completed can review, once, for that job. Moderators can hide abuse without quietly rewriting it.

Instead of a support address into the void

a dispute attached to the job

Customers and providers both get a route. Opening one records the problem against that booking — it never silently moves money or status.

How a job runs, start to finish

Six steps, in this order, enforced by the app. Neither side can skip ahead and neither can close the job alone.

  1. Send the job

    Customer

Pick a trade, describe the work, add reference photos and a date. The form asks the questions that trade actually needs — cuisines for a chef, distance for a driver.

  2. Accept, or counter

    Provider

The provider accepts the job or names a different price. Either side can counter, up to five offers. Every offer is kept, so there is a record of what was said.

  3. Settle an advance, or skip it

    Both

A provider can ask for an advance before travelling. The customer pays into the provider’s listed account and uploads the receipt; the provider verifies it. If nobody needs an advance, the step is skipped.

  4. Do the work

    Provider

The job is locked to the agreed price and date. Both parties can see the same booking, the same figure and the same notes.

  5. Both confirm it is finished

    Both

One side marks the job complete, the other confirms. A booking is only closed when both agree, and neither can close it early.

  6. Rate the work

    Customer

Ratings open only after a completed booking — one review per job, editable later. That is why the scores on a profile mean something.

Six trades, each with its own front door

A chef and a driver are not booked the same way, so they do not share a form. Each trade asks the questions it needs and proves itself with documents that mean something for that work.

Chef

Cooking for a house, a dinner or an event. Chefs declare the cuisines they cook and the kinds of events they take, so a wedding brief never lands with someone who only does daily home meals.

Plumber

Leaks, blockages, fittings and installations. Providers list the work they take and their rate before anyone books, so a call-out never starts with a surprise.

Electrician

Wiring, fixtures, faults and appliance installation. Certificates sit on the profile where a customer can see them before choosing.

Cleaner

One-off deep cleans and regular household work. Providers set a weekly schedule, so you only see people who are free when you need them.

Driver

Priced per kilometre

Personal and hired driving, priced per kilometre rather than per job. A driver cannot be approved without a licence and photographs of the vehicle they will actually turn up in.

Lawyer

Consultation, drafting and representation. A resume and practice licence are mandatory — no portfolio stands in for either.

See what each trade must prove

Nobody gets in on their own say-so

Verification is a gate, not a badge. A provider who has not been approved by a person at HireGo does not appear in search and cannot take a booking.

Documents reviewed by a human
Licences, certificates, resumes and portfolios are uploaded at registration and read by an administrator before the profile goes live.
Proof that fits the trade
A driver shows a licence and the actual vehicle. A lawyer shows a resume and a practice licence. Neither is asked for a photo portfolio that would prove nothing.
Advances backed by a receipt
An advance is paid into the provider’s own listed account, the receipt is uploaded, and the provider verifies it. Payment status is tracked apart from job status.
Both parties close the job
One side marks the work finished, the other confirms. Until both have, the booking stays open and the rating stays locked.

Priced in the money people actually use

HireGo runs as six separate markets. A booking is quoted, agreed and stored in the currency of the market it was made in — there is no conversion happening quietly in the background.
